TinySuperheroes Launches October Glow Mission with Michelle Taylor, Founder of Women in Wealth, to Help Children Discover Wonder Within and Around Them

ST. LOUIS, MO, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- TinySuperheroes is proud to announce the launch of its October Glow Mission, a free social-emotional learning activity designed to help children build self-awareness and social awareness by discovering moments of wonder in the world around them and within themselves. Made possible through the generous sponsorship of Michelle Taylor, the founder of Women in Wealth, the Glow Mission invites children to look to the stars, explore their imagination, and reflect on the feelings, hopes, and kindness that make each of them shine.

Wonder has a special way of reminding us just how big and connected our world truly is. Whether it comes from looking up at a sky full of stars, noticing something beautiful around us, or recognizing something special within ourselves, moments of wonder encourage us to slow down, pay attention, and connect with how we feel. Through this month’s mission, TinySuperheroes are encouraged to tap into that sense of curiosity while practicing mindfulness, gratitude, and hope.

“At TinySuperheroes, we want children to recognize that there is so much wonder around them, but also so much light within them,” said Erika Sinner, Chief Empathy Officer of TinySuperheroes. “The Glow Mission gives children a chance to slow down, use their imaginations, and connect what they see in the world around them to what they are feeling inside. Our hope is that every child walks away from this mission remembering that even during challenging moments, there is always something worth looking for, hoping for, and sharing with others.”

As part of the mission, children will begin with Stargazing or Light Gazing, finding a place to look up at the night sky or creating their own version indoors using fairy lights or other glowing lights. This simple moment encourages children to pause, observe, and let their imaginations take over.

Next, children will Connect the Dots by drawing their own constellations inspired by their emotions. Using the TinySuperheroes constellation page template or creating a design entirely their own, participants can turn their feelings into stars, shapes, and pictures. They will then give their constellation a name and write what their creation represents, helping them connect creative expression with self-awareness.

Finally, each TinySuperhero will make a Wish or Kindness Offering, sending a wish or kind thought out into the world. Whether they wish for something for themselves, someone they love, or another person who may need a little extra light, this final step reminds children that the wonder they discover can also be shared with others.

“This mission is close to my heart not only as a mama to two NICU babies, but also as a childhood Leukemia survivor. When I was 17 years old, that diagnosis was something I would have never imagined as a healthy high school student going into my senior year of high school. It was the support of the people around me and a strong faith that led me to a full recovery, in partnership with my amazing medical team,” Michelle Taylor, the founder of Women in Wealth and this month’s sponsor, shared.

“One of the most cherished memories I have during that dark time, is of meeting people who had dealt with a similar illness and seeing them healed and recovered and having their encouragement to “play” and see the rainbows that were there. This mission gives families and children a message of hope and allows them to focus on “rainbows” like being brave, strong, and focused on the small joys that make this life so precious. Receiving a patch and giving them something fun to focus on with wins and milestones can make all the difference. Looking for a small victory or a win everyday is something we should all focus on and having a program to enrich kids during a challenge not only helps them but allows the people around them who are also a part of the journey to remember how important the simple things and wins in life truly are.”

The October Glow Mission supports the development of self-awareness and social awareness by encouraging children to pause, notice, imagine, and reflect. Through stargazing, creative expression, and acts of kindness, participants are reminded that wonder can be found in the stars above them, the people around them, and the unique light they carry within themselves.

The Glow Mission is part of TinySuperheroes’ free Monthly Missions program, which provides children and families with engaging social-emotional learning activities that can be completed at home, in hospitals, classrooms, or communities. Each mission is designed to help children develop important life skills while celebrating the courage, strength, and hope they demonstrate every day.
